Lauren Luke

Lauren Luke is a British make up artist, who gained Internet fame thanks to her makeup tutorials posted on her YouTube channel, Panacea81. Lauren Luke became one of the first YouTube users in the United Kingdom to be made a site partner.

Luke creates short video tutorials showing viewers how to apply makeup to recreate various looks, as well as celebrity-inspired looks. To-date, Luke's videos have attracted more than 40 million views with nearly than 250,000 subscribers to her channel. Luke uploaded her first YouTube video on Sunday the 22nd July 2007 She is the most subscribed YouTube user in the UK.

In January 2009, Lauren landed an editorial role at The Guardian writing a weekly beauty column.

In February 2009, Lauren launched her official website, ByLaurenLuke.com featuring her video tutorials, photographs and updates.

On April 27, 2009 Lauren began selling her own signature cosmetics line.

Luke has also signed a contract to be featured as an Avatar in a Nintendo DS game due to be released late in 2009.

Luke has signed a book deal with Hodder & Stoughton, and the book will be available in the autumn of 2009.

Luke also has her line of makeup featured in Sephora online store.
